Upon joining Speech Interface Design in 1999 as CEO, Eric and his business partner and friend, Ahmed Reza, succeeded in realizing considerable sales growth, while remaining profitable and debt-free. Eric was previously vice president of sales and an executive officer at Voxware/Verbex and held executive management positions with AT&T and IBM over more than 20 years. He was a graduate of Drew University and participated in the executive development program at Yale School of Organization and Management. In addition to his leadership at SID, Eric enjoyed spending time operating and developing real estate and restoring classic vintage cars from the 1960s and 1970s. He is survived by his wife, three adult children and two grandchildren. His book: “Living, Loving, Learning” published in February 2015 is available on Amazon.com and at Barnes & Noble.
