Product Support & Return Guidelines:

If you have encountered any issues or believe you have a non-working product, please follow the procedures outlined below.

1.  Please call Speech Interface Design Technical Support Department at 412-323-1135, with the issue and product serial number.  A Technical Support specialist will troubleshoot your problem and may review questions from our Troubleshooting checklist.

2.  If determined necessary, an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number will be issued to return the product for repair.

3.  Once you are issued an RMA number, please complete our online RMA form.  This information is submitted directly to our technical support area and will ensure appropriate product handling.

4.  Return the product, with a copy of the online form enclosed for identification purposes.  Please keep a copy of the form for your records.  Please be sure to follow our packing and shipping guidelines for safe travel of your equipment.

Packing & Shipping Guidelines for returning products:

Our suppliers require careful packing and shipping of products returned for repair to minimize the risk of damage and to facilitate handling by our receiving departments.  Please help us observe these requirements as our suppliers charge handling fees for shipments which do not comply with the following guidelines:

1.  All items must be packed so that no items are in direct contact with any other items.

2.  All items must be packed so that no items are in direct contact with the sides, bottom, or top of the shipping container.

3.  The shipping container must be lined with at least 1 layer of padding, preferably anti-static bubble pack.

4.  Each item should be individually packed in a bag or wrapping, preferably anti-static bubble bags or wrapping; however, it is acceptable to layer the items on and under a separation material, such as anti-static bubble-pack.

5.  The use of foam "peanuts" should be avoided as the only packing material used because they do not prevent the items from coming into contact with each other and/or the walls of the shipping container.  An acceptable use of foam "peanuts" would be as dunnage in the shipping container, after the items have been individually packed in anti-static bubble bags.

6.  Our suppliers will ensure that packing materials are returned for re-use in order to minimize the cost for our customers.
